my credit is bad.
ive made payments on time, i pay more than the minimum. ive reduced a 4700$ credit card debt to a mere 250$ over the course of about 2 years. i pay on a car, card, and school loans.
i was planning on visiting my mom this september, it costs 480$ for 2 tickets down there. i was going to pay with my credit card. tried about 20 times today to do it, making sure all the info was proper.
i get home and theres a letter from Chase, who bought Washington Mutual, saying theyve cancelled my account, yet i still have to pay it and the interest on it, because of:
Total available credit on bankcards is too low (they cut it by 75% about a year ago)
Time since last past due is too short (i paid like 3 days late in june)
Current or history of severe past due or public record item (ring a bell)
ive been current on everything for months except that one 3 day late thing. and yet, i still have bad credit. still.
tell me why this is?
i bet you know.
btw, totally cant visit my mom now, making it even longer that i havent seen her.

with a total of ~3hrs sleep last night, i got out of bed at 630, went downstairs and had some breakfast, fresh fruits and fresh squeezed orange juice, and an apple.
there are these cool looking hook-beaked birds that come and dig in the courtyard for worms. i took a few pics of them, the other bird near me, and the courtyard itself, very pretty in the morning, perfect temperature for a morning.
unfortunately it feels like ive been up for an entire day and my back is killing me. it has nothing to do with the bed or the pillows, theyre all very nice. its just my body fighting back cuz it has no idea why the fuck im awake at the hours im working on now.
i need a massage and a natural night of sleep, unfortunately i dont think ill get the latter, gonna visit a pharmacy to see if i can get a sleeping aid tonight. the alternative is drinking the whole minibar.

my body and mind apparently cannot adjust to massive time differences, like a 6hr difference from south africa to home. i wasnt able to really sleep on the plane, i slept fine sat night aside from waking up at 2am and being up till 330, last night it was the same, except 2am to 5am, its 330 now and ive been up since 2am.
i was so tired today i was falling asleep on my chair, i had to have someone drive me back to the hotel, i slept for 2 hours. this sucks.
btw its nice here. i also had a steak that was abnormally large for less than 12 bucks

apparently i filed incorrectly with my last job on the W2, they instructed me to put 2 down for dependents, it added up, it made sense, now, i get nearly 1/10th of what i was expecting. maybe if the government would just say "if youre single file 0" i wouldnt have this problem.
so there goes any hope of me getting that new bed. fun.

dont ever let me take prednisone again, even if i am sick. thats some fucked up shit and you dont wanna be around me when i take it.
plus me like a dumbshit thought it was the inhaler but apparently its the prednisone. so i left the inhaler at home and brought the crazy pills with me.
for 3hrs last night i was tweaked out of my mind, once it finally wore off i was so tired i fell asleep really quickly.
the docs office told me to halve the dose or not take it at all, im fine with not taking it.
at least the antibiotics dont have any negative effects on me at all. i think.

i love my dad, but come on...
he runs his whole business on a 13 year old windows 95 machine with 32 mb of ram and a 1gb hard drive.
he uses AOL and AOLs mail to do business in which 70% of his mail is spam (despite AOLs claim to be mega antispam)
he has a dialup connection to the internet, AOL of course.
and now, it just stopped working yesterday, the access numbers for AOL simply dont work anymore in his area, its possible they finally just pulled the plug on the area.
this basically means he is fucked till he finds another dialup connection, unfortunately the only other one around is pennswoods.net, which has the audacity to charge 17.95 for 56k service.
seventeen ninety five. for dialup. dialup, people.

the real problem with this is that to upgrade his system and software, it would apparently cost somewhere in the neighborhood of 8,000$. thats kind of ridiculous, but its the software he uses that is what is really costing him. i could give him an old computer and it would still be hundreds of times faster than his current one but he would still need to buy new software.
i told him this should be his #1 priority when he sold his house. unfortunately he spent all of the profits on the down payment and remodeling of his new one, which granted, looks 400% better than it did originally.
stupid stupid stupid. need new shit. get new shit. HALP.
